If there are threads out here about this, sorry for missing them. I'm looking for a good light that uses the 17500s I found in the back of a drawer. By good I mean something that'll stand up to use in a deployed location that gets hot and dusty.
I use a pair in the INCAN Streamlight TL-3. I'd imagine the LED Inova T3 or X03 (not sure of the correct model #) would work, as they normally use three CR123 cells.
1x17500 or 2x17500? I haven't heard of a light that takes a single 17500, but there are some 1x18500 FiveMega SureFire/P60-type bodies floating around, a 17500 would fit in those no problem.
2x17500 is a much easier solution, there is a vast selection of 3xCR123 lights that would take 2x17500 just fine.
If it's not a light with a custom body, you're going to be limited to one that normally takes three CR123 cells since a 17500 equals 1 1/12 CR123s. A stock SF 9P would be a good choice.
Getting home I double checked and (to my embarrassment) they're 17650s. So they're double cell size, and not the problem I thought. Thanks for the responses, guys.
