Lightspeed,

I'm unable to access your pics. There is a red "x" which seems unclickable.

Any advice? Anyone?

I too would like to see a hand held HID about M3 sized, not the humongous beasts they have now. I would like to see a 100 lumen or so (or even more) LED light to replace my incandescents.

You guys ever wish for a black out?

Ya know it's funny. Last Spring during a particularly heavy rain/wind storm, I got my "wish". Although not up to the heavyweights of this group, I have a variety of flashlights including three surefires. But the light I used most? My $16 Coleman florescent lamp for area lighting. The blackout only lasted 7 or 8 hours or so. I used a couple of LED lights for walking around and going to the bathroom, etc. I never even touched the Surefires.

Really old Brinkmann 5 D cell (3/2 split)
3 Maglight 3-D
4 Energizer Arc White light (D)
ARC AAA CPF edition (D)
2 Princeton Tec Surge
2 Brinkmann Legend LX (D)
3 Princeton Tec Attitude's attached to my retractible dog leash (D)
Inova X5 (D)
Inova Microlight attached to my remote controll (D)
Princeton Tec Aurora headlamp
2 Energizer doubleBarrel 8 AA
Llambda Illuminator on order
Optronics 2,000,000 CP rechargable

(D) - denotes Daily use

I use the 3 attitude's on my dog's leash daily, and can't talk highly enough about these inexpensive lights, even though there is no DC to DC converter or voltage regulator. runs on 4 AAA batteries, and the three combined, give a really nice local light.

Keep the Inova X5 in my other hand, and the Brinkmann Legend LX in my pocket when walking around the neighborhood at night.

I am a recent convert to LED lights, and really like them for walking around in the nighborhood. I find that LED and incandecent lights really complement each other.

I can't wait to receive my Llambda Illuminator!

Of course I can't believe how often I use my Arc AAA in a day (other than to show it off). I am STILL amazed that, in total darkness, how usefull, bright and convienent this light is.

What do I want in the future?

I have to own a Surefire or two! Probably an e2e and a 3 or 4 cell light, maybe one of the digital series when they come out.

I also want 2 ARC LS's, a 123 pack for my keychain, and a 2 AA for carying.

Now owning a Streamlight rechargable, mounted in my house would be cool too!
