There once was a rumor an lithium powered N30 was being developed, I think it has been done.

My N30 is so convenient I doubt I will find a better portable HID. I noticed the price of the light and batteries jumped last week as I searched for a new battery. I decided to look for a lithium upgrade in the unit.

I began to search and found what might be the lithium variant of the N30, I think.

Anyone have any input on this thing?

Looks like it could be group purchased for as few as 10 units.

I think I want one. It maybe my favorite light ever...for this week anyway.

big picure link: click here
Link 1 10 units
Link 2 this one claims to be the manufacturer, also 10 unit claim
Link 3 rear view, shows batt pack like N30, also another claims to manufacurer it

Actually, the N30's lithium powered brother was just released. It's called the L35 and is available now at batteryjunction :twothumbs

Missed it. thanks gotta get one

That for me kinda closes this down. AS that is exactly what I was looking for the only thing that could grab my interest for the one I just located would be a major price difference. I had seen the illuminator and thought that was the new lithium version...NOT!

I walk 3.5 miles before dawn in the mornings. I like to sling my N30 under my arm. Boy, do I get comments. Some folks think I am a slow motorcycle coming down the road.
