Good morning experts

It is my first post and I have (what else) a newbie question:

I recently bought a Fenix TK 10 that I really like
I wonder however if I can get something with a more focused beam:
I have seen a Ultafire Q5 that promises 270 lumens versus the 220 I have now also I saw a UltraFire 3x CREE LED Flashlight WF600LT that goes to 500 lumens with a cluster of 3 LEDs . I have no info on the beam focusing though.

Assuming I would prefer to stay under $100 and on a similar size to the above do you have a suggestion ?

Thanks
Mirko

For $35-$40, the Lowes Task Force 3-Watt has some pretty serious throw...it lacks spill, but makes up for it in throw...and for $40, it's a nice light. Even though it's only 120 Lumens, all the lumens are shot out, and aren't lost w/in the first 25 ft., like alot of LED's.

One of the best throwing Stock LED lights is the Dereelight DBS. It should throw visibly more then the T10.

Multi LED lights usually have more output but less throw.

The Dereelight DBS V2 is the one to get. I prefer the 3SD pill.

The DBS is very easy to upgrade. Dereelight releases new pills often, for ~ $30.00. When a new emitter comes out, you just have to buy a new pill instead of a new light.

The best throwing LED flashlight is the Dereelight DBS. And it will be until someone comes out with a substantial innovation, since they regularly offer upgrade pills for around $30. But the light is out of your price range, at $130.

At under $100 I recomment the Tiablo MA6. The throw is only just visibly worse than an A9 Q5, but the light is also quite a bit shorter and slimmer. I own this light, and prefer it enough over my longer-throwing Tiablo A9 that I sold the latter. There are probably huge lights on DX that will throw better, but at its size the MA6 is unbeatable, and has some of the best build I've ever seen.

The perfect light for you would be the Dereelight CL1H Q5, as this is similar in size and weight of your Fenix TK10. Buy the 3SD version with smooth reflector. This will out throw your TK10 as the emitter is driven at 1.2A.
