Looking for info on an old light

Ok, flashlight gurus, my brother in law showed me a flashlight maybe 5 years ago, and I was just wondering if anyone knows about it. I have no idea the manufacturer, or even if it was incan or LED. Since it was more than 5 years ago, I'm thinking incan, though.

So here are my recollections of it: it was a variable output light via a knob of some kind on the side, and he claimed that it was invisible to someone else who was using night vision if it was not pointed directly at the NVG wearer. Not much to go on, I guess, but maybe someone can let me know what it was.

Sorry to hear about that. It sucks when that happens, it wasn't me! I blew my fun budget on a .22 rifle about a week ago.
