Looking for someone with knowledge of knifes. (Spyderco)

I am trying to find out the value of a Spyderco "JESS HORN" (used) but in decent shape. It is black and says JESS HORN all over the handle. The clip has been repainted. Anyone know? I am not much of a knife guy.

I think you'd be very lucky to get $80 for it.

Most collectors want them NIB and most other users prefer a PE instead of the CE of this knife.

So unless you find somebody who really needs this in their collection $80 seems way off to me.

I was able some information which said some people regret not buying one when it was in production and it is a gap in others collections. Oh well, I guess I will put it up for sale and see what happens.

Doesnt seem to be a high quality folder, but spyderco doesnt make junk. I dont like the shape of it, but some might.

It depends what model you get. Better steel more money. Here is someone selling new ones on blaadeforums, made from ZDP-189 and hes listing them for $75
So used would subtract anywhere from 10 to 30 bucks. A cheaper steel like AUS subtract another 10-20 bucks.
