LS Seconds Special Offer

We have a few factory second Arc-LS hybrids remaining and would like to sell them out to make room for the new full rev2s.

These are being offered with the 123 pack only for $49.95 each. This includes the hybrid LS with the 123 pack.

These hybrids are mostly 400mA but there may be a few 500's left. These have the new rev2 circuit and heat sink. First come first serve.

Since the LS production is currently only producing firsts, we plan on having a lot fewer seconds for sale in the future.

I just want to second what darell said. The Arc LS has made some serious improvements in the last year product-wise and it's good to hear that the production process is keeping up. Best of luck--I hope all the worst problems are behind you.

Remember, it says "to everyone who ordered from us directly". If you did not buy from the Arc website or from Arc directly they have no idea who to send to. So you are better off to drop them an email, just to be safe.

Well, I'm going to give it a try since this may be my only chance to get a light even remotely like this.

When the full Rev. 2 comes out in November at a projected $150 plus shipping, etc., the product will be well beyond the casual or even serious customer unless there is considerably more disposable income than what I have with my disability income since my stroke.

I cannot justify buying the full price Rev. 2 at 20% of my monthly income, so the current special on the hybrids is my only chance. Hope I get a reasonably good one.

The loose 123 body short thread problem should be over for new shipments.

I talked to Dawn at ARC yesterday to find out when I should expect my replacement. I was surprised to hear that Dawn thought ARC was sending replacements only to those customers who emailed or phoned in complaints. It appears that the customer service free replacement may not be 100% automatic.

I didn't mean to question ARC's or Peter's intent. It merely appeared that internal ARC communications may have been less than absolutely clear and complicated by Peter's absence.

It does appear that wheels that don't squeek stand a risk of slipping into a crack.

Anyone know the runtime of the Arc LS Hybrid (400mA) with a 123 battery.

I've done a few searches and found some runtime charts, but I think they were older versions of the Arc LS (rev1 circuit)

Doh! The order page defaults to second-day shipping! That's a waste for everybody - ground gets here in two days... or less. If you see this post before my email, would you just send my package ground?

The order page in the Arc domain, BTW, shows $8 domestic with no options. But then the Yahoo store page defaults to 2nd day air.

You can choose the method of shipping on the Yahoo store page, at least I could. I just double checked my email receipt and it shows Ground for $8.

Try again, maybe the page did not load properly.

Oh... I knew immediately after I ordered that I *could* have chosen ground. I just assumed it would have defaulted to that since the page with the order link says "$8 domestic shipping."

I fully admit it was me being lazy and not paying attention. This is my first order from Arc since they switched shippers. It used to be that shipping was a fixed $5 and I never even looked at it. I guess I assumed it was now fixed at $8. The implication from the order page is that shipping is $8, so it should at least default to that. Most sites will default to the cheapest shipping to avoid the situation where idiots like myself don't pay attention.

No biggie. I'm just trying to help smooth the ordering process.

I thought you meant the page would not let you choose. My fault.

Question, I know there is no warranty on these other than the 7 days but Arc will still repair them for a fee if something does go wrong, correct?
