I have to say I am very happy with the output and beam of the new IMR-E2 (350 Lumens) driven by AW's very nice AW16340's. A great combination...the host I am using is a Surefire E2D original what makes this into a great little defensive light for when I go jogging.

I liked mine too. I did a destructive experiment (9 minute burn) and lost the tailspring. I modded the tailcap by grinding a shoulder out and put in a McClicky tailswitch. A few 20 second burns and the spring softened and lost contact already. I'm thinking of a work-around. Maybe magnets instead of a spring....

Hmm, that sucks that the McClicky didn't last longer than 20 seconds without losing contact... I did a few 2 minute burns with the E2D (original surefire clicky switch), and no issues whatsoever. I'd be scared to run it for more than 2-3min continuously though...

Peer domination being a goal worthy of aspiring to, pictoral evidence would add dramatically to the legitimacy of this claim of happiness in beam and output rather than leaving the reader with a mere unspecific, however nagging, ache of jealousy.
