I only use the Nichia dropins in 6P/6P clone heads. They're beautiful in those.

I carry a MDC/VME M61NL XP-G2 with 14500 a lot. I'm looking forward to a new SST-20 M61NL in there.

i forgot i have an old 6p with a nichia by nailbender that has a great beam. I guess i don't like them as much in the don/gene reflector. But it's nice we have so many great choices currently without a lot of custom orders and wait times. I'm also a big fan of 14500s for the mdc/vme setup. Boost in mah and still compact. I use it with an m30, m31(aa), and 3.7 heads.

You said it there. I've been away from the forums and didn't realize the changes in lineup until about a week ago. I haven't been this impressed/excited about new "stock" Malkoffs in quite a while. It's time to do some upgrades and sell some of my older stuff.
