What kind of clever ideas for attaching a lanyard to a 2D mag have you Guru's of the light come up with?

make lanyard like this:

part to fit over the light as small as possible.
If You make the string wet, it will shrink a bit when dry

wont a mag-lite be a little big and heavy for lanyard use? i just use some 550 paracord that i might find in my couch. :twothumbs i do even own a lanyard for my SF, but a majority of the time i use 550 cord just because that is what SF lanyards are made of. and if you ever need some rope....

Not really,I used one on my wiseled tactical which weighs 1.5Kg.
The lanyard comes useful if you need to free your hands,for what ever reason. :twothumbs

Im going to use a SF lanyard I have laying around. I figure its just a little security should I happen to drop it.
