I can't help but think of Chief_Wiggum's 4 AA-to-D adaptors in a two D cell Mag, running 12 V to this, and being rechargeable.

shankus,
Some Japanese moderator use 12 AA-NiMH cell for this HID.

I guess you have flattened the competition to the touted crown. ooh man what a light. Is the 5w in a mag reflector?

Please keep us updated on how the HID reflector holds up in the heat. Your English is good, by the way.

Ballast type is "11.5-13.0v".

I guess this is "B10N001" shown here which should give 10watts at 12 volts?

Thank you very much./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

StoneDog,
Sorry, I can't measure the current, but according to the description "Vin=11.5-12.8v Power=10-11w efficiency=0.85".

AilSnail,
I guess "B10N001" too, I checked the lead colors are b/w.

Rothrandir,
Welcome to my homepage./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

AWESOME!!!
Simply Awesome!
Will you sell this one?
If so, how much?
I would most likely buy your prototype.
Your web page is very nice too!
I see you are quite the modder with an excellent attention to detail!
Again, very nice work!
