Hi guys,

It's the first time me making flashlight tailcap, so I'm in need of some help.

I've got the MCE2S LOTC switch (assembled)

I'm machining my own tailcap and I need to find out what part I need to machine. I've looked at the picture

but it seems that I'm missing something, I thought all I needed was that MCE2S switch (and boot cap) was all I needed, but it doesn't seem that way.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The tailcap assembly is like a can and the McE2S switch drops into the can. I would look at an existing tailcap for details or further direction on what an existing one looks like.

From your description of parts, it sounds like you are missing the threaded jam nut?!?

If you plan to machine a tail cap I assume you will use another existing tail cap for dimensions and reference.

I have threaded jam nut, I just need to know the pitch dimension for the switch. every other dimension is sorted out already.
