Hi, I'm trying to figure out the best way to make my new E20 tailstand. I was able to disassemble the tailcap no problem and I tried sticking a o-ring in their but it didnt help. I was thinking maybe I could try find a washer that is the right size and sticking it in there so the button wouldnt stick out so much do u think this will work without compromising the lights integrity? Or any other ideas? Thanks

LOL, your still fighting with that tail cap  I have to admire your determination :D

Edit: Yes If you can find thin washers of the right size...I think you idea would be the answer...might have to use several.

Sorry Fenix E20.
Heh, I'm not really fighting with it,and it was easy to get apart, it's just that it seems kinda crazy that fenix made a light with a candle mode that cant tail stand, as much as I love the light so far, it was a really dumb design decision on their part

Not sure then. Good luck.

When I first saw your post a washer was exactly what I was thinking as well. I would just go to multi drawer bin at lowes, you should be able to get and exact (or nearly) outside diamiter, however to get a good inside diamiter you may need to do some drilling. I think if you take your time and do it right ie sand, primer, and paint the washer then maybe use some good 2 part epoxy or what ever it will turn out quite well. Good luck.
