Haha :D I was that happy not so long ago, when I got my SF A2 (and I'm still!)

But I found one major error in your message - " There is no need to buy any others. " For a week or two? :nana:

I just meant that there is no need to buy any other brand lights, other than McGizmo's!!! I have been McGizmoed, and am delirious with joy over it too!!

Welcome TKC!!! You deserve this light and many future McGizmos! (New word created by TKC: "McGizmoed". Used like this. "I've been McGizmoed".) FYI... I feel the same way about Don and his lights!!!

Yeah, Don's learned a thing or two about building good lights!

just got 2 slate ones myself. I totally understand your excitement. can't wait to see how they perform with seoul:)

It's heretical, perhaps, but I love my slate PD-S even more than my Ti PD-S.

Okay, it might have something to do with the fact that my slate PD-S is a mizer, but still - there's something about that slate color that's just *cool*. Congrats and enjoy, Pumaman!

As for TKC...

My sincerest condolences to your wallet. We hardly knew ye, or your contents. 'Twere gone so fast.

;-)

Congratulations on your first McGizmo! If you had to choose one light with which to take the plunge, the PD was it - great decision! I'm glad you're so happy with it. It truly is darn near the perfect light.

But a word of warning. Finding McGizmo nirvana may lead to an unnverving tendency to purchase more of Don's lights: the 27-LT-S, the HD-45, and the upcoming LunaSol. My best recommendation is to ensure that your "12-step flashaholics group" is available for weekly meetings for the foreseeable future. You'll need it!

I can identify

Just received a McLux III-TI (no piston, just a twisty, only 30 made?)
far right next to a "Bare" Alum PD and a McLux PD-S- Ti

As was mentioned the HD 45 is very nice, too! However, the "Mule" is really unique and often my preference!!:nana:
Hope You enjoy the Pictures!

Dad, you have more ti than 'Terminator'...he heh...

I'm also hooked on Don's creation......hope to get a PD-s one day.....love the Mule very much perfect for my work

AWTYD, your collection's just nuts! Kind of like seeing a bunch of beauty pageant contestants all lined up next to each other (who can spot Miss Congeniality?).

Yay for TKC!

Welcome to the McClub!

I've still got a UV1J Al-PD that I traded for some time back...that, and the AlTiN Ti-PD-S that I carry around now have easily become the most indispensable EDC lights. The design is robust and frankly amazing - and the fact it puts out more light than a 3D Mag is as giggle-worthy to me as my Torch is. :D

my one and only EDC, an upgrade from my 1st one(Slate UV1J) I lost :(

I love it...

(*edit* sorry its an Mclux III XR-19 with Cree XR-E LED in case you weren't aware )

Ian :)

As long as we're posting our favorite McGizmos, dont forget the XR19 PD :

TKC, good to hear you are loving your McLuxIII PD as I am with the Mule Ti PD. I've also secured a McLuxIII PD but with SSC, hopefully arriving early next week. Having owned and used SF all the while, McGizmo's are one of a kind IMHO. Something so small that can produce remarkable output and they eat very little also.....
