Can anyone think of a reason Gene anodized the head threads instead of the tail threads? Just curious if there's a compelling reason to use the head for lockout as opposed to the tailcap.

Thanks FiveMega, got the tubes. Legoed something that makes a lot of sense, and something that makes no sense haha. md2, battery and hands for scale.

So far, very impressed with the size and feel of the md1 tubes. Going to go for a run with them in my pocket and see if it's uncomfortable or not. But as is, huge recommend. It's way smaller than one of the other 18350 lights I have.
