Megalennium Lanyard???

Has anyone come up with a good way to attach a lanyard to the Megalennium?
Because of the increased diameter of the body the M6 lanyard attachment does not fit.

I tied some paracord (gutted works best) around the fins at the base of the head. Then attach a lanyard to that. The gutted paracord slips into the groove and doesn't move.
