That does look like very controlled, precise timing, so definitely not some random 'glitch'...

Could it be a custom / modded light, or did you buy it new?

We need a picture of what's at the center of the reflector emitting the light in order to proceed with telling you why it's blinking.

If it's the stock, halogen, krypton or other bulb, it will all look like a removable tiny glass vial with two wires sticking out of it.
If it's an LED, it will look like a little yellow square under a tiny domed lens.

It's not led it's bulb halogen

Hey @lastkoenig that certainly looks like a perfectly good LED Mini Maglite. The thing in your video is WAY brighter than any non-LED Maglite.

If you can take a picture of the thing in the center of the reflector that is emitting the light, that will clinch it. Also, what's written on the ring that you unscrewed to take that picture?

The Mini Maglite that is "not LED" has a little removable bulb about the size of a rice krispie with two metal pins that let you stick it into the light. Does yours have a bulb you can take out?

Thanks! That sure looks like a bulb. I don't know what could cause that to blink like that, gotta be circuitry in the lightbody.
Funny it looks like a Streamlight bulb. I'm out of ideas but thanks for the pictures and such. Good luck!

Look guys. This is clearly a joke. I mean that "bulb" is at least 6000k in colour temp. Probably a luxeon v. Even if he had a special electronic tail cap. And his insistence it's halogen when they've never been a halogen bulb. Only the mag charger was.
