I can't find anything like this, but wouldn't it be really nice? About the width of a Maglite Solitaire, but without the bulky head. Pen clip as standard. Lots of runtime, decently bright, and easy to carry in a pocket, and much harder to lose than a single AAA. Ideally with the ability to use AAA format lithiums, whatever they are called. But it doesn't seem to exist!

I have always wished Fenix made a second battery tube for the L0P, would definitly pick one up with another L0P or L0D.

It's not a Cree and certainly not screaming bright, but the relatively new Streamlight Stylus Pro is headed in that direction at least. It's a huge improvement over a standard penlight and could possibly be modded, although I think a Rebel would be a better choice due to the size. The head on mine appeared to be glued, but that hasn't stopped too many CPF'ers in the past. It's a great light and someone making an even brighter version would be useful I agree.

This got me wondering if Peak would custom build a Baltic with a Cree. I have heard that you can send them a LED of your choice. They have now built seoul based lights so it might not be impossible.

This seems like a no-brainer idea for Fenix to pick up on. They can sell the cheapest part of the flashlight at a nice profit.

Maybe PEU and 4sevens could work some more magic. Probably won't sell anywhere close to as much as P3D tactical bodies...but who knows? :)

+1

I bought my Stylus Pro (2 AAA) about a month ago, and I agree that it is a big step in the right direction for a 2 AAA penlight.

Much brighter, and whiter than the regular Stylus, and a very smooth, even beam.

And with a tail clicky with momentary on, plus a bezel down pocket clip.

Mine rides in my shirt pocket everynight.

+1 on the Stylus Pro.

I just got one yesterday it replaced the Rock River 2xAAA in my lab coat pocket.

What type of emitter is in these? It is VERY small. I agree this light is screaming for a Rebel

You can get a Peak Pacific or Baltic 2aaa setup with a Seoul which will be about equal to a Cree in most respects.
