Mod Emitter on River rock 1w 1aa?

Picked up this little light with a luxeon emitter. I've got a cree P4 collecting dust and I'm wondering if there is any way to get in there and swap them.

I've heard of it done but I don't know how to open the light up. Something about heating the head up and using strap wretches.

I put a 1w UV led in mine.
I heated the light with a heat gun, and then grabbed it and twisted the front half off, while wearing leather work gloves.
