Mod potential of the Streamlight Sidewinder (inside pic)

Pretty basic question. I acquired a Sidewinder this week and immediately took it apart to check things out and realized I have no idea what kind of LED the main LED actually is. Anybody able to fill me in? I'd like to swap it out in the interst of tint but with the absence of leads have no idea how that would work.

It looks like a nichia rigel to me. It's reflow soldered from the bottom. I had not been able to remove one from my fenix e1 without destroying it.
I basically crimped it with a plier. You'll see the positive & negative traces on the bottom after the rigel is removed.

Thanks for the response, what did you replace it with on the E1?

I think replacing this may be out of my league since offhand I have no idea what reflow soldering is and don't want to damage a 60$ light learning.
