modded mag, maglite switch

Hi, i´m searching for an replacement switch for a maglite like in this thread.

I want to replace the switch of the maglite with a pot which has also an switch installed like this one

Does anybody know who can build me a switch like that or a similar one?

How much power are you going to use?

Are you going for on/off or variable?

Maybe the pot-meter and a FET transistor?

A user named AW makes one. Search "Mag D Incan Driver".
It hasn't got a pot, it has 3 levels of set output controlled with a series of clicks. It's not cheap but there is honestly no better way to get variable output from a mag.

I got one I love it.

It doesn´t need to handle much power its just for switching a driver on/off and dimming.

I already found the incan driver but that´s not what i´m searching for.

Oh ok, so you're building you own kind of driver circuit? Like with a regulator ?

Well I'm looking at that thread, I see you already asked them. The only thing I can think of, is to ask AW about parts he uses to build his drivers. Maybe he'll sell you an empty one of his units you can install your own guts into.
