I needed a fine finisher CNMG-432 for a precision bushing job that's on the lathe. The tech at MSC recommended a Hertel insert, which cost just $5.59 after the discount. The sales person asked if a 1" boring bar might be needed, since they have a set on clearance with bar plus ten general machining inserts for $79 (regular price $198). Added that to the order & realized I needed the Aloris AXA holder for the 1" bar - even though it was not on sale, she took 16% off the catalog price :thumbsup:

At least the shipping is free ...

Although Enco is cheaper & offers free shipping most of the time I always wait for the MSC 40% off days to place my orders. Placed one today too.
