Well, I'm about to pick up a new Tassajara for trail and commuting (dual sport, if you will). Just gotta figure out what bar ends to run. I can get a real deal on the Bontragers...and probably will go that route. But they just look so plain.

Whats everyone's favorite bar end? I'm thinking either a long, or at least a ski style, thats what I've always run and I'm just fine with that!

When I used to run bar ends I used those from SingleTrack Solutions. They are small so they are less likely to get snagged, but just big enough to be useful. They're also good for weight weenies as they don't weigh much.

I have run a pair of Scotts shorties that I liked...straight and only about 4" long. Just enough to transition my weight on climbs. I run riser bars now, so I don't run barends.

I would recommend the Cane Creek Ergo Control II bar ends. They have a rubber covering and are the most comfortable bar ends I have ever used.

The Scott's stubbies are nice and small but they're kinda heavy. If weight is a big issue the KCNC ends are only 57 grams per pair.
