Well, I was bored tonight so I was playing with a Dorcy Metal Gear I put a Cree into. Doesn't work that great with the reflector so I removed the bezel and there was the emitter. I thought, maybe I could make it like the McGizmo Mule. So I looked around at my spare junk parts and I found a minimag plastic lens fit over the front, so I slapped it on there with some clear sealant. Once that set I decided it needed some protection, so I super glued some orings on the front so I could put it bezel down. Then I slapped some GITD orings on the body to jazz it up. The result, a real mess of a light with a floody beam (kind of dim, blueish tint, flickers a bit):
