Well i got home from school and checked my mailbox and nothing was there. So then i want online and tracked it and it said it was here. So i called the post office they said it wasn't there. So then i go to the apartment office, well it wasn't there either. So that ment only one thing, it was at the post office. I go to the post office the lady gets an attitude with me and tells me to wait for the supervisor. The supervisor came over he was very nice about asked me to hold on. He called the maillady and she didn't have any package. He said thats wierd it was checked out this morning. Well he asked me to wait a few minuites. He comes back and said well it was in the wrong truck there are two trucks that go to your apartment building and somehow it was in the wrong one. Well i finally got it and all i can say is WOW. This, L2D-Q5 is BRIGHT!! i like it alot. another cool thing standing it next to my mini mag it's only a few mm's taller a tad heavier to but i have no problem with that all-in-all it's great.

Howdy a4d, and welcome to CPF,
That's a great light. My original L2D-CE (with the P4 emitter) is still one of my favorite lights, especially since I use AA Eneloop rechargeables in it for guilt free lumens. Enjoy your new light!

BTW, if you think it's bright now, just wait until it gets dark outside. You might need to take some sunglasses with you.

Ya i realized that when i moved it past my face real quick. It pretty much blinded me for a second. I had to do it because when i go home for christmas i'm going to be attatcking my friends with it. So i had to get a dose of my on med's first.

Also on anyone elses L2D Q5 do you batteries rattle slightly or is it just mine? I'm running the duracell 1800 mAh untill i can get myself some better batteries.

I have tried three brands of rechargeables in my L2D Q5. Two of are them decent 2500 mAh types, and one is a cheapie 2000 mAh type from Harbor Freight. None of them rattle, even subjected to vibrations on my bicycle.

A very thin sheet of plastic can help solve a rattle. I use one in one of my other bike lights. Avoid making it too tight. If the plastic is too thick, you don't have to wrap it around the entire circumference of the battery.

Yep, it is indeed. The battery rattle was the only thing that I was dissapointed with my old Fenix L2P for a long time until someone here told me to just wrap a paper round the batteries...

Well i just wrapped a post it around te batteries with enough sticking up so i can pull them out and it worked. Thanks for the help with that guys.
