my first Mag 3D P7 mod :-)

Hi,

here is my first Mag 3D P7 mod:

-3D Maglite
-Seoul Semiconductor's P7 Emitter (W724C0-DSWOI)
-P7 SSC HAIII Heatsink - from here
-Alumina Adhesive - ebay
-Artic Compound - got this from my PC project.
-24 AWG PTFE Insulated Wire, teflon Wire - only place I found it was here

the only obstacle I've got was HAIII Heatsink - finally I've used a hammer and it goes in - I know should not do it, but could not resist LOL.

Really enjoyed this one hour of my life doing this mod :laughing:

I still remember the first time I modded and turned on a Mag2D space needle, "bloody hell" were my words that night!

The good thing is most of the time you finish building your light at night so you can play with it through the whole night ( at least for me) ^^

That place is where i bought my teflon wire from in the end, 22awg though.
Great silver coated wire, very thin teflon coating, gets where normal silicone sheathed wire cant.
What reflector is that? Did you start with a 3D Led mag?

The standard Mag reflector. I have started with standard 3D MagLite with incan krypton bulb.

Ah yes. For some reason it had stuck in my mind that the incan came with op reflectors.. Had to go and look at the one i chucked from my mag mod lol. Carry on :duh2:
