Here are some of my modified/homemade lights build from the parts left from another projects.

1. TrustFire TR-801 body, 1x18650 cell, home made head with SSC P7 led, 18 mm reflector, AR glass lens, GITD o-ring and tail cap and 5 mode direct drive board. Nice floody beam without donuts, current draw on high is about 2 A but drop fast.

2. TrustFire TR-801 head (Cree Q5), 1x17500 cell, home made body, sized down switch from DX, 2 mode driver, GITD tailcap.

3. MX Power 3W 1xCR123, home made extender for 1x17500, GITD o-ring and tailcap, new 18 mm OP aluminum reflector instead of original smooth one, 5 mode driver.

4. Akoray K-102 body, 1xAAA, home made head with Cree P2 pill from Romisen RC-G2, 5 mode driver.

Nicely done. Are you set on the polished aluminium finish? Looks like nice tight fittings all around. The custom head w the lens seems like it would have been a challenge.

I love the one with the P7. So small, but yet it must be pretty darn bright. I would love to have something like that... totally freak people out. :thumbsup:
 
Yes, I like powerful lights in small package. Few weeks ago I was on vacation on the one of the Adriatic islands, and there is quite dark at night. And, this flashlight is... well, pretty darn bright :)
