My Gerber Infinity Ultra is in pieces. Now what?

I'd like to put a nichia ds or gs in it. But which one? And where should I buy it?

IMO the Nichia DS is superior to the GS.

I'm not terribly thrilled by the GS output compared the the DS.... Better, sure, but at a significant cost to emitter life.

That said, I have a GS in one of my minimags direct driven off a pair of alkalines; works great when you just need a little light for finding the trail or navigating indoors.

What is the LED that comes in the Gerber Infinity Ultra? Is it a Nichia CS or just a generic 5mm LED?
