I've acquired the unit's i need, and a couple are on their way. I want to get one more light but i cannot decide on a new inova t4, or a new E1L (when they decide to come)

i know i'd use the t4 for home security and just basically all round distance thrower/rechargeble/reliable/will last.

the e1L has always been a favourite, I believe i have enough small EDC style lights. I don't think it will do anything the others cannot, but it is a 'dream' acquisition. Cons: easier to lose, expensive for such a small form factor.

can anyone help me with this or is it a journey i'm just going to have to take alone?

I think I would get the T4, its brighter, rechargable and not too much more than the E1L.

Plus if it's for home security you could also use it as a make shift batton. :p

I'd get the new Inova 5.8 Watt k2 Lux XO3 at Target for &54.99 I did and I love it. Rechargeable flashlights imo don't make sense if you are out and about and need to have the ability to just put new cells in it. Rechargeable lights are good for around the house so you can recharge them when need be. If you are like me on the go then non-rechargeable lights make more sense. Just my thoughts.

Deserter! Traitor!! You dare utter the words "my last flashlight" while you are still breathing.

As a true flashaholic, your last flashlight should be a solar cell rechargeable flashlight operating in candle mode mounted on your tombstone.:grin2:

ok, last light, must be LED, must be rechargeble must have good throw and decent runtime, pelicans are looking hard to acquire.. what's the run-time on the 7060, insane lux readout.

Shhh... dm51, i'm trying to be sensible!!

The MRV from Lumapower should out throw the 7060 at 19000+ lux on high (I'd guess the runtime to be 1.5 hour). It can run on 18650 Lithium ion rechargeable and has a low mode that should last for 4+ hours.

P.S. This WON'T be your last flashlight.

lol last flashlight... yeah right..
if mine was the last i would get a Polarion... whatever model... lol 40 or 35 watt

but in your case i'd say pelican 7060 if you want recognized US brand and the Lumapower MRV for about the same class of light...

or for a EDC i'd just pick up a Seoul'ed HDS Ultimate and call it a day... or wait for the new models to come out... can't go wrong with them...

SUREFIRE for sure
