My NiteCore/Vital Gear Extreme R2

Just received my Vital Gear FB2 and installed it on my NiteCore Extreme R2!

I am loving the FB2!!!! It allows the use of a 17670 which increased the runtime on high from around 35 minutes to right at 2 hours.

Bumping up an older thread to say: :kewlpics:and, this combo rocks! I stumbled upon it tonight while playing Lego.

The black E2e head went on the Extreme body with a LF EO-E1R for a super shorty incan that can sit at the bottom of my pocket comfortably. Milky Seoulmator KL1 came off the FB2 body and onto the E2e body.

The Extreme head and the FB2 body were left, and I stuck in a 17670 that was in my L4. Logged onto CPF to make sure the Extreme head was good to go at 3.7V and found this thread. :twothumbs

It is a cool combo! Currently I have my Extreme head on a Surefire E2D body and tailcap and I really like that combo also.


Here are some pics that have the Surefire E2D/Extreme R2 in them along with some of my other flashlights. It's the left middle one (if that makes sense).

I just discovered the Surefire E2D LED body and tailcap with the Nitecore Extreme Q5 head combination today. I came to CPF to check if this was a workable combo. Seeing that the R2 version of the Nitecore Extreme functions as well I am now thinking I need to order that... lovecpf
