Why should these guys have all the fun?
I was doing my pre-holiday cleaning in the office when I found my stash of LuxIII spare RAW parts. Since they don't fit in the new RAW (that was sooo last year :shakehead) I thought about ways I could use them. Then, an epiphany happened.
I replaced the reflector with an extra heat sink spacer ring. I replaced the stock spring with a cut down, stretched, beefier spring from an old 2D flashlight to push the battery forward. Then, I crammed it all back into the RAW casing.
Voila! now I have a RAW "Mule". Using a primary CR2, I have a nice moderate flood light that's perfect for reading late at night.
Run time = about 30 hrs (primary CR2)
Beam shots? It's a mule, there is no "beam". :candle:
OK. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming. . .
