Energy Star is only mandated for certain products. What you will find for lighting though, at least residential, is that incentive programs will only apply to Energy Star certified products, at least in the U.S.

The Nanolight is now the Nanoleaf One. It is for sale over on EarthLED.

3000K
12 watts
1600 lumens
133 lumens/watt
CRI 80

The SKU listing states the bulb is suitable for fully enclosed fixtures.

133-150 lm/w is cool. The price (EarthLED) is a tad hefty for a simple design like this in my opinion. And they ended up with 3000k from 4000k I wish they'd just kept both.

—very cool!

My only concern would be the funky beam pattern, or rather, the way it would project on nearby walls/ceilings/floors.

Actually, I do have another concern.

I always think of the domes over LED emitters as being like eyeballs:

Your fingers don't belong near them!

I would worry about what would happen if you touch/scratch/bump/drop them by accident.
