Here's the thing, there's only so much you can do with a cylindrical flashlight, they all follow the same basic shape. Unless they are identical how do you define what is clone what is similar or whatever?

and before anymore crying about stereotypes and playing the race card, i am ethnically chinese..

Just because you are ethnically something doesn't give you free reign on stereotyping.

not really, except looking similar, they don't share much with mags.

One could use the same argument on pretty much every clone claimed on CPF, the internal is usually way different (crappier).

At least will all be able to spot the copy if someone buys one. The real Fenix TK40 won't scratch up as easily as the clone will...

.

lol, there is a lot easyer way, look for fenix tk40 sign on the light body, if it isn't there , it isn't fenix.

Lets see, how about Cabela 6P?

this thread is not going anywhere good. and no offense to the OP, but i dont see how he could expected any other kind of responses to a thread like this, despite however good his intentions may have been

i can think of a number of arguments to counter yours outersquare, but thats really not the point of this thread.
and honestly i dont see why you take offense, i didnt say that cloning lights is right.

OK everyone,

I let this thread continue for a couple days more to see where it would go, and to let everyone express his or her point of view, but I think it has now run its' course and everyone has had his or her say and it is now decidedly off-topic for this forum (LED flashlights).

Thread closed.
