So guys, a new topic from me! i saw on the internet much maglite 3d upgrades and i like it very much! most of them gives 10 times more light than the orginal maglite, so im thinking of upgrade my maglite ( i have a 3d) but which upgrade i must take?

- which one gives the most light for its price
- it must be led, i have at this time the old light in it :p
- i have seen the SSC P7 i like that!
- it must be easy, im not an expert im new with torches
- i dont want that the upgrade eats batterys, so when i using my mag with a mod that it burn for 20 minutes and then i need new batterys. :p i dont want that :p

I hope u can help me!

If you are not an expert, it might not be wise to do your own mod for a P7.

The P7 makes a lot of heat so you need to replace the bulb holder with a heatsink.

Then you need to center the LED and glue it down with thermal epoxy.
Then solder wire from the LED to the switch.

I do not have the skills so I bought mine.

The beam pattern is not the best with the stock M@g reflector. I have ordered the DX reflector (still in the mail).

Elektrolumens is making a smaller P7 light. Warning - Uses funny 18650 batteries.
