Hello all,
I need a bit of help finding a single AAA light. I'm currently carrying a AAA from Dorcy that works pretty well, but I'd like to step up to something a little brighter.
That said, here's my wish list:
Single AAA alkaline, nimh, lithium, or any other AAA battery out there.
Similar in size to the Dorcy (it will live in the side pouch of my cell phone holder: that eliminates longer lights or those that have a substantially larger diameter)
Semi-durable. Again, it's on the outside of my phone case; It'll be somewhat protected, but it will get bumped and probably dropped.
2 levels of light: low (again, similar the Dorcy) and a high / turbo mode (50+ lumens?)
Easy to operate. I want to be able to hand it someone without a five minute tutorial
$50ish price point. I'm willing to go higher, but not much (unless I really fall in love with it ).
I would love a temporary push / twist on interface, but that's not mandatory. I would also like the low level to come on first, but that's also not mandatory. I would rather not have more than two levels of light, but I'll live with it if I have to.
I've looked at a lot of lights and read a lot of threads here. In fact, I'm probably suffering information overload. Unfortunately, I've never handled a Fenix or any other multi-function light, so I have no clue what UI I will really like and what I will hate. I'm hoping ya'll can get me started in the right direction.
Thank you,
Jay
