Hi,
i have a Jetbeam Jet III ST with a broken Driver. It has a Cree LED with Q5 or Q35a binning, im not sure..
Now i was wondering if I can Direct Drive this LED?
As I found out the Datasheet of the Cree 7090 XR-E ( http://www.cree.com/products/pdf/xlamp7090xr-e.pdf ) says something about 3.7 V Forward Voltage.
And if it would work, here comes my second problem:
How do I open/disassemble the head of the Jet III ST, so i can remove the Driver and connect the LED directly to the 18650?
