I had my Ti PD-S modified a year or so ago with a Cree LED. I didn't like the way the bezel ring did not screw completely down on the head. I tried to solder in an newer SSC led but managed to short out the PCB. So, now I have a very expensive shell:sigh:. I need an able and trustworthy modder to repair/replace the PCB and solder in the latest and greatest LED that will properly fit the head. I would very much like to have McGizmo do the repair but I'm afraid he won't have the time. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a while since I've been here so I'm not up to speed on what's been going on. So bear with me please.:candle:

Macaw,
I have rebuilt a similar mod which actually had the window in contact with the LED. :green: If your converter is dead, I don't think you have too many options here as there aren't very many loose x2 converters out there that I am aware of.

Send me an e-mail.
