Need help, still stuck!

Newbie question: is there such a thing as a linear driver for a 2 cell/8.4v set up. I don't see one offered by Mt. Electronics, so I turned to looking at these 2 different buck drivers instead and would like to know if either will work for some upcoming mods. Also, if anyone is using or has used either of these drivers, I'd welcome some feedback on their performance.

Lastly, will I need to modify or replace any of the tail switches? Thanks in advance for everyone's help!!

Mountain electronics carriers the Zener mod kit for Qlite drivers that powers 6 volt emitters using a 2 cell setup. Available either in a DIY kit if your comfortable soldering small parts or Richard(Mountain Electronics) can mod a driver for you.
You may have to upgrade or do a spring bypass on the tail switch to carry the amperage
