Hello everyone

I need some advice on improving the lights of a Dodge Stratus.
My friend just bought a 2000 Stratus and the headlights are dim.
Looking up her car I see that it uses 9007 bulbs on the low beams. The only thing that I can think of right now is using some PHILIPS Xtreme Power bulbs in her low beams. Anyone used those before and have any idea how long they last? If they don't last that long then I will probably buy more then one pair.
The car also has some cheesy, blueish, lights installed were the fog lights are supposed to go. I have not bothered to check what kind of lamps they use because I think that I will buy her some OEM fog lights for the car. Hopefully those will be better.
It looks like the OEM fog lights use 9006 bulbs. I'm thinking of putting some HIR bulbs from http://hirheadlights.com/.
Any advise would really be appreciated.

That's right in the middle of Chrysler's darkest period of too-small headlights with barely/minimally-legal performance. Put in the Xtreme Power bulbs (they are by far the best available 9007). The 9007 is a high/low beam dual-filament design. There are no HIR bulbs that will fit your headlamps. The OE fog lamps are not going to be as useless as the blue toys presently in place, but they're still not going to help you see meaningfully. If you do install them, don't use the HIR bulbs in them (no bulb shield, way too much glare and backscatter regardless of aim). Back to the headlights: make sure they are in like-new condition; if the lenses are cloudy restore them. Then fix Chrysler's pathetic thin (high loss) headlight wiring by installing relays, make sure the headlights are aimed correctly, and that's the best you can do with 'em.

Ok thank you very much. I guess its time to get them xtreme powers and some relays.
