Hi guys. I have been to this forum through google a few times and decided to join when I couldn't find the information I needed through searching. Hopefully someone can help me out.
For hunting I use a Nite Lite brand battery and headlamp with a rheostat system. The lamp takes PR style bulbs, but they are only available in halogen, xenon and standard issue from their website.
I would really like to be able to run a white, or close to white, led in the headlamp with as many lumens as possible (the lamp has adjustable focus). Does anyone know of a bulb that might work for me.
Here is the battery the system uses. It is 6 volts and 8 amps.

This is the simple rheostat that I have on mine. It says 4 watts.

And this is the adjustable focus headlamp, that accepts PR style bulbs.

Thanks to anybody that can offer an idea for me.
