I am clueless when it comes to this stuff... I saw a "hack" for doing LED lighting on IKEA furniture, and I have a bed this would be perfect for. Just want to add some mood lighting to spill out beneath the bed and behind the headboard. It may be stupid, but I want to at least try it out and see! Unfortunately the IKEA lights recommended for the hack are $50, and I'm thinking there must be a better way (and by better, I mean cheaper).
Can anyone recommend some specific products for me? I also know absolutely nothing about the controllers and things, so I would really like to see something in the $30 or less category that you just plug in and mount to the furniture, but maybe I'm dreaming....
