Not trying to pick on you bro, but part of this is because the flashlight manufacturers haven't produced a new compact thrower light in months. Vinh is a modder, not a smith. He is limited to what's available.
I got an email advertising the coming of the NC concept1 but other than that it's a 1800 lumen, xhp35 hd, single 18650 light, I can't find anything on it. Just the fact that's it's an HD makes me think it will lean away from throw.
-edit- nevermind, it's up on their site now. it actually looks like a good contender against the ZL sc600 III. Still not a thrower like the mh20gt (see how I'm keeping this on-topic? eh? eh?)
