sorry, but i wanted to say something about this dilemma.
please -not another thread.
first of all, i work sometimes at my friends company, next door to
where PENTAGONLIGHT was located. exactly next door.
neat LITTLE company, with about 30-40 workplaces, where they
worked on - assembled - repaired their lights.
directly in south San Francisco, Mitchell Street. you could walk in and ask....look at .....and dee their stuff.
PL was by no means any competitor to SF, not in the civilian market, not for the military. they had nice designs...retractable strike bezel, etc.
this company gave employment to US people, and i am very much pissed at SF - with all the money they make that they have to destroy this company.
thats what is needed in harsh economic times, money talks.
as much as i like surefire products...this leaves a foul taste for me.
SF will proceed to take other competitors out.....to expand their own business. surpressor manufacturers are next.
making untrue....misleading statements about their products ?
i just saw a car ad from an asian car manufacturer that claims to outperform
Porsche, BMW and Mercedes in handling.....with a 18.000 $ POS.
anyways, i am upset that surefire did that. unneeded, uncalled for.
leaving other Americans out in the rain with no job.
i wonder who sues SF for untrue statements....and success stories....
like using an L4 for a tactical light mounted on .50 cal machineguns....
ok, no more about that dilemma.
at least - this is a flashlight forum, and i wanted to express my point of view about that.
