Flashlight Enthusiast
At the request of one of the other members of this
forum, and because I've never really done so, I thought
I'd make a post about the services I can offer to the CPF.
What I have is a nice metal lathe, and some evenings
when I can do mods. What I also have is a desire for
flashlights,
so I thought one thing could help the other
here. I am offering to the members of the CPF my services
to make custom flashlight cases. I may in the future make
some full-custom lights, but currently I'm only offering mods
to existing lights.
I have made custom battery holders for the Arc-LS head
(of numerous types), and custom battery tubes for the
Arc-AAA, as well. My current repertoire also includes the
Surefire E1e, and the CMG Inifinity.
I make double-ended holders for these, using the same or
different heads for each end (so far - 2 x 123 holder for
Arc-LS, an LS/E1e combo, and an Arc-LS/Infinity combo),
or custom battery holders (2AA holder for the E1e, for
example). I'm in the process of making a full-custom body for
a 123 cell and an Opalec Newbeam module. I am also
commissioned to make some spare battery carriers (in Delrin -
a plastic material). I have made and continue to offer Delrin
caps for your spare Arc-LS battery holders.
I am also open to custom orders, if you have something different
in mind.
In exchange for this work, I like to get trades. I'm looking
for several different lights (please email for list), and I'm
also looking for some Luxeons (LS/o in white). I offer prices
in cash, but perfer trades, as I like getting presents in the
mail...
(Not to mention that it's easier for US citizens to
order some of this stuff and have it sent to me). I have
a Paypal account, for those who prefer that method.
Right now, my delivery time is about 3-4 weeks, since this
is a hobby, not a full-time job.
Please email me at [email protected] to
discuss mods you are interested in. Thanks!
