I haven't seen it mentioned yet, probably because that bulb is so wide. I guess you could run a M3 Turbohead with bi-pin. Probably have to open up the reflector hole or shave down the sides of the bulb to fit.

I agree, I'm kinda curious to see if anyone has anything along those lines. I know that those with turbo-head SF's where among the first to run the 1185 with 3xIMR16340

I would open my KT2 reflector (in the name of science and flashaholism), but I don't have a fivemega mn bipin adapter . I'd open it even to fit a 64623 bulb with 4x16340 IMR in a 2x18650 body

I am running a 5761 in a bored M4 body with 2x Sony V 18650s, does that count? Not sure that a 30mm shorter light with less run time is a step in the right direction for me
