I have a 3 cell and a cell that originally had incandescent bulbs in them. I purchased LED conversion kits for them in 2010. They went into storage in 2014. And i recently got them out the led is broke in one and I'm trying transfer the one led into the but can't remember how to remove it from the housing. I've looked around online and I can't figure it out. I believe there's a special technique. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sorry, they are mag-lites. I have 3 left. A 6 cell and two 3 cells. One 3 cell and the 6 cell, they were stored with batteries for 7 years. So naturally they had some pretty bad issues once I got to them again. But the one 3 cell had a broken LED, and the other two had all the batteries corroded inside of them. So im. Trying to salvage the parts and make at least one working one.

Unscrew/remove the head, unscrerw the collar that surrounds the bulb.
