Will this X7vn replace my beloved TN36UTvn 13,400 lumen Spec 1 ??
Decisions, decisions....
So tempting....

YES: TN36UTvn Spec 1: XHP70 CW Dome On, Lumen 13,400/12,600 - Lux: 48K/45K

About 3000 Lumen brighter at turn on and 2000 brighter ANSI

Hoping for around 12,000 ansi lumen and 110k lux for the dedomed version.

Any possibilities for hi-cri xhp-70 variant of this? What kind of lumen and lux would 3 shaved-dome xhp-50s bring?

Any possibilities for hi-cri xhp-70 variant of this? Yes but I would not personally recommend this LED. Not my taste
What kind of lumen and lux would 3 shaved-dome xhp-50s bring? Not an option for this light. TN30vn50 is what you want

Ah, TN30vn50's specs are pretty flaccid next to the X7. I guess dedomed xhp-50s loose too much output and thus a lot of the throw. What about the hi cri xhp-70s do you not like?

I think tn30vn50 is good. I will buy it if i dont have a lot of flooder light.. But anyway.. I think 90 cri xhp 70 loose some lumen. Its good for photography.

Hint of green in the tint. Plus I never understand HCRI. Tons of HCRI LEDs out there does not rock my boat.

That's too bad. People are reporting green tints in their Zebralight SC600FD Plus as well, which has the HCRI XHP-50. As long a the cool white on this light isn't too cool and isn't too green.

can't believe the lux is almost double!!
so with this much lumens, you have to turn it off within 1 minute right?

I'm DEFINITELY down for one just as soon as they're available!!!

I think TN36UTvn will still remain competitive due to price. Due to DriverVNX2 we were able to push new limits yet there is a price to pay for all the extra work. LOL

Vrey shinny reflector in the X7vn helps big time with throw. Torture test tomorrow. Working on Shave Dome version now.

That dht is beautiful. It's shorter than the tn36utvn but a little wider.

Not having the twist lockout is my biggest complaint.
