it just popped out?

I always break my inova flashlights…

mulotozink,

Were you doing anything out of the ordinary with your Inova? Like diving or using as a hammer or something else? Just wondering, I thought the Inova lights had their heads on pretty tight and was a pain to dissemble.

The thing fell 4 ft on linoleum and it popped out I have had it for a month

 o well

and the batteries were squished kinda

it still works if you stick a 9volt to it :)

It will cost you shipping both ways but INOVA will replace it.I have six different X5s and they all seem solid as a rock, havn't done a series of drop tests though.

Interesting . . . .

Don't own one (yet), but everything i read always states
that they can withstand ANY abuse. Even a truck running over 'em.

Hope that your story has a happy ending (from Inova).

Unbelievable!
Those X5 heads are SO tight it's hard work trying to get them out if you WANT to!
So, what's the secret?
We need drop angle, height, terminal velocity, battery type and state of charge, rotation angle and angular velocity, jerk and phase of the moon please!
Now you can pop a downboy in there.....

do You use another date abroad?
Is it still 1st of April there?
;)

looks like an Arc flashlight besides an X5 head to me

Everything I hear about Inova's is that they are built like tanks.

My brother is a mechanic and hes used his X5 as a hammer and it's still going strong. :|
