I tried that. It's interesting that after my lips fell off Im compelled to tell others not to do that.
Now I can cut way back on lip balm which is a wintertime curse. Its clear that the light frequencies radiated by the P1D and maybe other LEDs mediate lip chapping.
Perhaps it kills the bacteria that create chapped lips. I can hardly wait for the TV infomercials to begin. Call now and get a set of tweezers to pull out ugly facial hairs.

I noticed that too last week with my striker VG upgraded to SSC.

Only the new high flux new SSC and Crees seem to feel warm when shone on the lips like incans always have. Apparantly the lips are particularly temperature sensitive.
