I've been looking at different warm/neutral tints and I think that my next light will be a "warm". Seeing as there aren't as many warm lights out there I've found 2 that get my interest. The P20c or (T) MKII and the Quark Turbo 1232. I'm just looking for the best overall value in terms of construction/output. IIRC, the Eagletac uses the Q3/4 and the Quark uses the R4 but I may be wrong. If that is the case, the quark should be brighter and more efficient. In this type of light I'd like a good mix of spill/spot but I know that the T20C and Turbo will be throwier than the P20C. Any thoughts welcome. I'm looking to spend under $100 and would prefer to stick to something pocketable.

i think the eagletac is neutral, while 4sevens quark 123 turbo is available in warm tint xp-g.
I thought i like neutral tints most, but after getting a nailbender SST-90 3000k drop-in. I am very much a fan of warm tint, its makes neutral look like cool tint.

Thanks for the reply. Some photos show warm as nearly Orange while others make it look nearly like an Incan which should be much more pleasing than Cool outside which is where I mainly use my lights.

The T20C2 is closer in size and price to the Quark turbo. The P20C2 is like the Quark regular and the T20C2 is like the Quark turbo. I just don't think the Quark turbo vs P20C2 is a fair fight.

its yellow with hints of red, making orange hehhe:thumbsup:
thats what i see anyways. the tint on my sst-90 3000k looks very similar to my E2E incan, but a whole lot more blinding.
the first time i turned it on, it looked very orange to me, but now that ive gotten used to it. i love it. makes everything look softer, and more vibrant.

I have a 123^2 Warm White Turbo that I bought for outdoor use. I cannot tell the difference in tint to that of an incan - very pleased with it. IMHO it also cuts through the rain (and hopefully snow) better than a cooler tint. The XP-G w/deep smooth reflector in the Turbo head throws well with surprisingly useful spill with no rings. However, mine does have a slight donut hole - a trait I've found I am more sensitive to than others. Although not a high CRI, to my eye the warm (7A3 or 7B4 if memory serves) renders colors better than a cooler tint.

I run AW 17670s with a Turbo Flat Tailcap (momentary forward clicky that tail stands). It has been noted on CPF the WW turbo does not lego - it does not have the requisite square threads. I have not had an issue with the flat tailcap.

Nice light - I recommend it highly for the use you intend.
